Our organization was founded by Nebraska native Sam Franklin. Sam’s basset went missing for almost 4 months, so she knows how scary it can be when a pet gets lost. After getting her furry friend home, Sam took specialized training on how to find lost animals, and is passing that training down to our volunteers to assist those in need in our community.
Our board of directors represents a cross-section of our community, and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The members work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization and oversee that the funds raised directly affect those in need.
We help keep animals from entering shelters and rescues as strays. We educate pet owners on how to keep their animals safe and what to do if they lose them. We provide an invaluable service for our community and help ease the burden of overpopulation in shelters and rescues by reuniting lost pets and owners.
We have been a vital part of our community for many years. We have continued to grow with the help of our donors and volunteers that make our mission possible. Through all these years our purpose still remains the same: Bring our furry family members home!
